Thankyou to all the candidates who replied to our request.  If your candidate is not listed here (perhaps someone from a minor party), or has not replied to our request for information, please contact them to ask them for their position, and let us know what their response is.

Update

Lisa Griffiths did not reply to the SETS Group's written request.   Co-convenor  Alan Lonsdale managed to speak with her by telephone on 2 September, having left a message 10 days earlier.  She explained that as she was a private citizen and not a member of Parliament, she had passed our requests on to Labor Party headquarters for a response.  To this point no response had been received.

When questioned about her personal view, she stated that a lot of people in the electorate wanted a better supply of power, while equally a lot of people in the electorate were concerned about the environment.  When asked how an Eastern Terminal would improve the power supply to people in the electorate, she indicated that "it would be another source of power".  She was informed that the purpose of the Eastern Terminal would be to augment power supplies to people in the Perth metropolitan area, NOT the Darling Range electorate.   She replied: "That's not what I've been told".

On this issue Lisa Griffiths has not done her homework, and is muddled and disorganised.  She has not thought through her position on the Eastern Terminal.
